The team at The Law Office of Milena Christopher is thrilled to be awarded the "Best of Dripping Springs" award for the third year in a row - they have won every year since the contest began.
"I am so proud of my team and I feel so blessed to have them working with me," said Milena Christopher, the President and Owner of the firm. they are knowledgeable and helpful to clients.
Milena Christopher's background and experience is an ideal fit for family law. Armed with a law degree as well as a Master's Degree in Psychology Counseling. She has an understanding of the legal issues that trouble families. Her intent has always been to help keep things as amicable as possible, especially if children are involved. As a former prosecutor, though, she can be tough when needed.
Because of her prosecution background including the exclusive handling of Sex Crimes and Child Abuse cases, she has also seen almost every possible scenario. She is not easily surprised nor is she judgmental about the families that come to her.
"Over the years, both through my experience in psychology and law, I have learned that most families experience or know someone who has experienced some sort of trauma in their family dynamic. That's where we come in - we work hard to settle most of our cases without the need for court."
Milena credits the firm's success to her incredible team:
Brandon Spaur is an attorney who chooses to work as her paralegal. For the last 5 years, he has used his legal knowledge to prepare documents, speak to opposing counsel, and prepare Milena for court hearings. "He is one of the most organized, supportive, and dedicated people I know, and I am so thankful to have him on board," said Milena.
Hunter Bryant joined the firm in 2016 and is the office "Energizer Bunny." "He loves to sink his teeth into cases and is one of the smartest people you'll ever meet," said Milena.
Ken Christopher is Milena's husband, the Financial Manager and handles HR. A computer guru in his past life, he keeps things running around the office. "And it's great to be able to work together," Milena said.
Suzanne Beard is the newest addition to the firm. Having worked at the Dripping Springs Library for several years, Milena says, "Suzanne is the epitome of organization, which is so important to any law firm - and we are lucky to have pulled her out of retirement to work part time with us."
Milena also enjoys mentoring young people who are interested in the legal profession. "We have had some wonderful interns over the years, several of whom have become lawyers or are currently in law school. Erin Hill is our current intern and she is awesome to work with."
